Dear Les Miserables,

Please come back to Brisbane or anywhere in Australia....I don't care where, I'll travel to see you. I need to be sitting in the comfortable darkness in front of you - feeling your fighting spirit and your passion all around me.

It must be ten years since I last saw you.....I miss you.

They grow up so fast

 

So. So. Fast. It seems like one day you're strapping on their backpack for their first day of school - then the next.....you're strapping on their wings to send them off into the world.  How exciting for them! 

Connection

The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours.
